About

Beäm Abris is a nomadic swedish artist with an education in classical art and archaeology at the universities of Stockholm/Umeå/Uppsala. She tells stories about earth that spans over time and space primarily as land- or cityscapes in oils and prints of ancient woods. Birds, trees and used surfaces are recurring subject matters often placed in abstract or semi surreal environments.

“ My paintings travel with me and are often painted on in several different parts of the world. It’s like they pick up the energy of each place, building layers and depth until I begin to feel something universal in them, extended into a timespace continuum”
